Meet the Speakers
Marko Vatanen, Chief Specialist
Marko is the chief specialist and CTO at cyber security research, development, and training center JYVSECTEC. He has been developing national cyber resilience and security since 2011 with comperehensive cyber exercises, trainings, and R&D activities. His primary focus is to help organizations prepare against modern digital threats with incident response, digital forensics, and cyber defence.

Marko Lepola, Business Development Director
Marko wants to build and create, push the boundaries of possibilities, and innovate together with customers. His professional focus is on the impacts of 5G and digitalization in industrial operations, as well as developing new capabilities for Industry 4.0, 5G, Edge and cloud services, and AI data analytics and visualizations. Marko holds a Master’s degree in Applied Electronics (M.Sc. Tech).

Nikhil Ninan, Head of Digital – Energy Division
Dr. Nikhil Ninan is a digital and data science leader with over two decades of experience across academia, deep tech, and industry. He currently serves as Head of Digital for the Energy Division at James Fisher and Sons plc, where he is leading the digital transformation of critical offshore and renewables operations. His work focuses on integrating cutting-edge digital solutions, data analytics, and emerging technologies to drive innovation, safety, and efficiency in the energy sector.

Matti Seppä, Enterprise Product Manager
Matti has been involved from the early stages in developing Schaeffler’s OPTIME maintenance system for industrial clients. What began as a targeted solution has grown into a global IoT platform for predictive maintenance and intelligent lubrication systems in the industrial sector. He has extensive international experience in platform-based product development across multiple product domains. Matti holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology (M.Sc. Tech).
